Getting a cue from the Reader’s Digest, this day is kind of slow in the summer. You get no response from Yahoo’s new mail interface. You get kicked out of remithome.com if you log on outside of the US. Watched the movie "10,000 BC" yesterday night which is a cross between Helen of Troy and Apocalypto. And then get ready for a sizzling summer. Unless you are in Baguio which at its hottest temperature at 26 degrees is still tolerable compared to Manila.

Philstar reports:

Temperatures in Metro Manila will likely hit 37 degrees Celsius by April or May, according to senior weather specialist Robert Sawi of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The hottest temperature so far this year in Metro Manila hit 34.5 degrees, recorded at the Science Garden in Quezon City on Jan. 14 at 2 p.m., while in Baguio City the warmest temperature of 26 degrees was recorded on Jan. 31 between 1 to 4 p.m.

In a five-day weather forecast, Pagasa said the predicted ranges of temperatures from March 26 to 30 are from 23 to 34 degrees Celsius for Metro Manila; 20 to 33 degrees Celsius for Tuguegarao City; 22 to 33 degrees Celsius for Laoag City; 15 to 26 degrees Celsius for Baguio City; 22 to 33 degrees Celsius for the cities of Olongapo and Angeles.

For Tagaytay City, the forecast temperatures are from 21 to 31 degrees Celsius; 25 to 33 degrees Celsius for Legaspi City; 24 to 33 degrees Celsius for Puerto Prinsesa City; 23 to 34 degrees Celsius for the cities of Iloilo and Bacolod.

Temperatures would range from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Metro Cebu; 24 to 34 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City; 19 to 32 degrees Celsius in Cagayan de Oro City; 22 to 33 degrees Celsius in Metro Davao; and 22 to 32 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga City.
