In the beginning was Google Reader. Then comes Netvibes and Illumio. When Illumio starts to wear down on me, I got back to Netvibes again. Well, that’s me. I don’t know about you, or if you even know what OPML is. Netvibes still provides a great interface for scanning your RSS feeds, while Feedly trumps Illumio with regard to magazine-style layout and functionality. Now, as they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. What works for me may not necessarily work for you. It’s the same all relativity issues. But if you want to discard Illumio and Twine for now, go just use your trusty Firefox browser. No more downloads. But still there’s that minor process of registration.
Anyway, if you like what you are reading so far, you may want to read ReadWriteWeb post on Feedly. I would say Feedly complements my Netvibes startup page, and it’s a breeze…
