Google Chrome Security Flaw
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008Just as I was about to install Google’s newest baby, the Chrome browser, I thought hackers would unearth some security vulnerabilities. Hours later after it was launched, ZDNet reported a carpet-bombing flaw in Chrome. Since it’s released as an open source, gazillion eyes are very much likely to explore it, exploit it, and just as important, released a quick fix in the spirit of open source diligence. For ordinary mortals, read the manual and adopt a security-conscious mindset. After all, you don’t want to be plagued with viruses riding at the back of a fast, shiny browser from Google.
